Episode 19 What is a 670A Health Service Maintenance Technician Guest CW3(P) Goldie Cooper

CW3(P) Cooper is currently assigned to the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) and serves as the 670A Warrant Officer Professional Military Education (PME) Program Director. His previous assignments include: Test Officer, U.S. Army Medical Department Board (now known as the U.S. Army Medical Test and Evaluation Activity); Chief of Equipment Management Branch, USA MEDDAC Fort Carson, CO; Unit Maintenance Officer, 10th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Carson, CO; and Chief of Medical Maintenance, U.S. Military Hospital Kuwait (USMHK). CW3 Cooper’s civilian and military education include a Bachelor of Applied Science and Technology in Biomedical Electronics from Thomas Edison State University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Biomedical Equipment Technology from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Candidate School (Honor Graduate); Health Services Warrant Officer Basic Course; the Health Services Warrant Officer Advanced Course; the Medical Logistics Officer Course; the AMEDD Captains Career Course (Commandant’s List); Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education (WOILE; Commandant’s List) and the Health Services Maintenance WOILE Follow-On course (Commandant’s List). He has also earned the Air Assault Badge (Distinguished Honor Graduate). His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd award), Army Commendation Medal (5th award), Army Achievement Medal (5th award), Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with campaign star), Iraq Campaign Medal (with campaign star), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (3nd award), Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon (5th award).
